Established in 1915, Manchester Midday Music is one of the largest and most successful lunchtime concert series in the country.
Manchester Midday Music is an independent charity that supports young musicians in the early stages of their careers.
The Charity’s mission is to encourage emerging and early career artists by offering prestigious performance opportunities as part of its quality, affordable lunchtime concert series at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Chamber Music Ensemble Prize
Applications are now open for our Chamber Music Ensemble Prize. Ensembles ranging from trios to sextets, including string ensembles and vocal groups, can apply to win:
- £2000 cash prize
- a recital in our 2027-28 concert series
- a new work commissioned through our Composition Prize
- Further recitals within the UK
